Sub & DubNo API key

Made for your site

Automatic fallback

If playback fails, the player switches to a backup mirror automatically. Your visitors can keep watching without choosing a server.

Provider captions

Available subtitle tracks appear in the player’s captions menu. Languages depend on the episode and its source.

Playback events

Listen for playback progress, provider changes, episode completion, and errors from your own page.

AniList IDs

Use an anime’s AniList ID and episode number to build an embed URL that fits your existing catalogue.

Sub or dub by URL

Set the audio with /sub or /dub in the embed URL. The player keeps that choice when changing episodes or sources.

Responsive iframe

Copy the generated iframe into your site. Its 16:9 layout scales with the space you give it on desktop and mobile.

Frequently asked questions

What is Akari-Api?

Akari-Api is an embeddable anime player. Enter an AniList ID, episode number, and audio choice in the builder, then copy the iframe code into your website.

How do I choose an anime and its audio?

Use the numeric ID from the anime’s AniList page. The URL follows /embeds/{aniId}/{episode}/sub for subbed audio or ends in /dub for dubbed audio. Audio is set by that URL, and availability depends on the episode.

What happens if a stream fails?

The player prepares backup mirrors while the episode loads. If the initial stream fails, it switches to an available backup mirror with the same audio choice. If no mirror works, the player shows an error.

Can my site track playback progress?

Yes. The iframe sends postMessage events to its parent page, including playback time and duration. Check the sender and origin before using them to save watch progress. See the player events guide for the message format.
